La investigadora de la Universidad de Trent (Canadá) Linda Rutledge dice que la gente no entiende la importancia del lobo y el papel que desempeña en la naturaleza. Rutledge, hablará sobre el tema en el Centro de Thurlow Comunidad en Belleville, dice que mucha gente confunde al animal con los coyotes. Ella dice que los lobos están en riesgo y son necesarios para actuar como depredadores de la naturaleza, sobre todo para mantener la población de ciervos controlada.

A Trent University researcher says the public does not understand the importance of the eastern wolf.
Linda Rutledge says many people do not understand the role the eastern wolf plays in nature.
Rutledge, who will speak on the issue Thursday evening at the Thurlow Community Centre in Belleville, says many people confuse the animal with coyotes.
She says eastern wolves are at risk and are needed to act as predators in nature, particularly to keep the deer population down.
