LOBO IBÉRICO. Por Juan Carlos Blanco

Ayúdanos a evitar la masacre de más de 190 lobos en Asturias y Castilla y León. Petición de firmas en Change.org

Una petición histórica realizada de manera coordinada por Lobo Marley en varios países europeos y que tiene como fin detener una absurda e injustificada matanza de 190 lobos ibéricos en las regiones de Castilla y León y Asturias, y convencer a las autoridades europeas de que no tiene sentido seguir matando a una especie como el lobo e impidiendo dispersarse de manera natural por todos sus territorios históricos de la península ibérica.

Queremos conseguir la mayor cantidad de firmas posible y para ello te necesitamos no solo firmando, también compartiendo la petición en diferentes redes sociales, compatiendo con conocidos o amigos concienciados con la conservación de la naturaleza, sean de España o de otros países.

The Iberian Wolf, described as a sub-species named Canis lupus signatus, once roamed across all over the Iberian Peninsula but, despite their role in maintaining a healthy and rich ecosystem and the low impact posed to human interests compared to other threats, wolves were nearly extinct by the beginning of the 70’s. Today, though slightly recovering in the North West Regions of Spain, and protected species in Portugal, their presence is only allowed in a small fraction of their historic range. Modern research states that wolves are the engineers of biodiversity and responsible for the natural ecological balance that allowed Spain to keep the rich and wide ecosystem we still enjoy today.
